Cats require quality sources of protein in their diet, as it is used for a multitude of bodily functions and is their primary source of energy. The beef heart, kidney and liver used in our beef formula is a complete protein, meaning it contains all 11 of the essential amino acids cats need to consume in their diet for optimal health. One of these in particular is taurine, which is critical for healthy digestion, vision and immunity. Beef offal (heart, kidney and liver) are also fantastic sources of riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, copper, selenium and iron, as well as being great sources of protein. These are all essential nutrients which contribute to the overall health of cats, including, heart, skin, bone, blood, digestive, oral and immune system health.

The addition of human-grade quality chicken and bone in this recipe boosts the nutritional profile and supports oral health and hygiene. High-quality chicken is rich in nutrients such as vitamins B3 (niacin), B6 and B12, magnesium, potassium and zinc. These are all essential nutrients which contribute to many different functions in the canine body.
