Whether you are considering buying a pet for the very first time or you are an experienced pet owner, our highly qualified staff members are always available to offer sound advice and to share their extensive knowledge about pet care and the right products to choose for your pampered, cared-for pet.

Wendy Williams

Growing up on a farm and working closely with animals, it was always Wendy’s dream to one day have her own pet shop. In 2003 this dream became a reality when she took over PAWS Pet Shop in Monmouth, and since then the business has grown from strength to strength. Wendy truly is ‘passionate about pets’ – she keeps 6 guinea pigs, 11 rabbits, 4 hamsters, 2 bearded dragons, cold water and tropical fish, 4 dogs, 5 cats, 1 leopard gecko, chickens AND a Vietnamese pot-bellied pig called Porky! (she also has three children – Joshua, Chloe and Francesca – who keep her pretty busy too!)
