Betta - Internal Aquarium Filter

Betta Aquarium Internal Filters are suitable for use in indoor aquariums. The filter is easy and simple to use. It features a high output pump (with optional air diffusion), and an easy-to-clean filter sponge. This product is recommended for use with all tropical and coldwater fish.

This aquarium filter has the following features and uses:

• Angled output nozzle, to adjust the direction of water flow.
• Optional use air diffusion pipe (blows bubbles through the output nozzle) which is great for increasing oxygen levels in the aquarium.
• The pump is attached to the aquarium on suction cups.
• Easy clean filter sponge, which fits neatly into the filter casing.
• Alternative filter medias can be used in place of the sponge, such as carbon, or contaminant removers.
• Can be used in conjunction with an external filter, for mechanical filtration, increasing water movement, or using alternative filter medias.
• This filter is very quiet, energy efficient and fully submersible.
• Suitable for use in tropical, coldwater and marine aquariums plus Turtle and Terrapin environments.

It is advisable that you clean the filter in old aquarium water during maintenance. Do NOT clean the filter in tap water as chlorine and chloramines will remove the beneficial nitrifying bacteria that have colonised during the maturation of the aquarium.
